Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in India (New Delhi)

You will receive greetings from our guide when you arrive at Delhi's IGI International Airport. At the airport, our representative will welcome you and transport you to the hotel so you may check-in and rest. Later in the evening, you will wander through old Delhi, exploring the local market and cuisine. Enjoy north Indian food, dinner, and lodging at the same hotel. The actual sightseeing and exploration of the Buddhist Stupa tour will start the next day.


Day 2: In New Delhi

The next few days of the Buddhist Stupa tour will be inspiring for you. Get ready for a spectacular time in Delhi after breakfast at the hotel on the second day. You will be visiting Raj Ghat and then Jama Masjid before lunch. One of India's largest mosques. Take a rickshaw trip through the small lanes of Chandni Chowk, Delhi's historic bazaar. After that, you'll see the red fort erected by Mughal monarch Shah Jahan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After visiting this attraction, you'll eat lunch and take a little break before continuing.

After lunch, you will visit Humayun's tomb, a 16th-century structure listed as a world heritage site. The next stop is the Qutub Minar, the world's highest minaret and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, you will go to India Gate and the President's House. Then, you'll be dropped off at a hotel where you'll spend the night and have dinner.

Day 3: Bhopal in the morning Excursion by flight to Sanchi O/N Indore

Early on the third day, depart for Delhi airport to catch your next aircraft to Bhopal. When you arrive in Bhopal, you will be met by our agent, who will take you to a restaurant for a fantastic breakfast. You will see the Sanchi stupa of the famous ruler of the Maury dynasty in Bhopal. You will explore other stupas, Buddhist art, and sculptures as well. We will leave for Indore by road later in the afternoon after lunch. It takes about 4 hours to go to Indore, and once there, you will check into your hotel. After having dinner, you'll spend the night resting in a hotel.

Day 4: Indore – Aurangabad via Ajanta Cave

After breakfast on the fourth day, we will depart early for Ajanta Caves. It will take around 7 hours to reach Ajanta caves; we will stop for lunch along the way at a restaurant and arrive in the evening. You will check into the hotel and relax because the evening is free for you to explore the local region. After dinner, get some rest at the motel.

Day 5: Aurangabad – Ellora – Aurangabad – Mumbai in the afternoon Flight

On the fifth day, take breakfast before departing for Ajanta Caves. After exploring, we'll have lunch before heading to the Ellora caves. After touring the Ellora caves, you will be dropped off at the Aurangabad airport to fly to Mumbai. Our guide will meet you at the Mumbai airport and drive you to your hotel for a night's supper and overnight stay.

Day 6: Mumbai

After breakfast on the sixth day, we will depart for Elephanta Caves to explore. It is yet another world heritage site that provides a unique experience. You can also reach Elephanta caverns by steamer or boat. After seeing the area, our guide will drop you at the hotel in the evening for a relaxing spa treatment. Later, we'll have dinner and return to the hotel.

Day 7: Departure

Our representative will drive you off at the Mumbai airport on time for your next trip after a great breakfast at the hotel. Here your journey on the Buddhist Stupa tour ends.
