Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival in Cochin:

After arriving at Cochin International Airport, you will be a meet and dropped to your booked hotel by a Traveda Tour representative. Check in and relax after the ride. After freshening up, head outside for a Cochin sightseeing tour of the historic city dotted with Portuguese, Dutch, and British architecture.

Check out the 1568-built Jewish Synagogue. It also goes by the name Paradesi Synagogue. It features exquisite hand-painted Chinese tiles in shades of white and blue. St. Francis Church, India's oldest European church, is the next. Go to the Dutch Palace, then proceed to the Chinese fishing nets. The night is scheduled to attend a Kathakali performance. Night in hotel.

Day 2- Cochin- Kumarakom (48 kms):

After breakfast at the hotel this morning, start your fascinating journey by sea to our Ayurveda retreat in Kumarakom. A lovely backwater getaway in God's Own Country, Kumarakom is a collection of tiny islands on Vembanad Lake in Kerala. This trip takes a high-speed pontoon boat through the enchanting backwaters to reach Kumarakom, which will take 2.5 hours of travel.

When you get to Kumarakom, check into your hotel and unwind. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, where you can see many different species, including cuckoos and Siberian storks after you've cooled off. The Bay Island Driftwood Museum nearby features wooden sculptures. Pathiramanal Island is a haven for rare birds of passage on the lake. East of Kumarakom is where the former Thazhathangady Mosque once stood. At the resort, spend the night.

Day 3 to 5-In Kumarakom (Ayurveda Treatment):

Days 3-5 are reserved for rejuvenating your weary mind, body, and soul on our Ayurveda retreat. Within four days, take advantage of the incredible benefits of Ayurveda therapies. The resort's resident doctor will decide on your itinerary, therapies, and meals. These days, you can only consume a vegetarian diet, and alcohol and tobacco are not allowed.

Take advantage of herbal body massages, yoga and meditation classes, nutritious yogic meals, steam rooms, beauty treatments, etc. You will feel utterly renewed after this wonderful encounter. You can also read ayurvedic literature in your spare time. It is one of the best Ayurveda retreats in Kerala, so you will have a wonderful time there.


Day 6- Kumarakom -Alappuzha:

After having breakfast at the resort, start your journey towards the next destination, Alappuzha. Alappuzha (or "Alleppey") served as the primary port for the backwater region beginning in the middle of the 19th century. Tourist loves to call the city "The Venice of the East".

Check into your hotel in Alappuzha after you arrive, then unwind. The remainder of the day is available for leisure pursuits. You can visit Ambalapuzha Temple is one of the oldest Krishna temples in both Kerala and India. While in Alleppey, a must-visit attraction is Karumadikkuttan, a Buddha statue made of black granite stone.

Another intriguing temple to visit in Alleppey is the Mannarasala Sri Nagaraja Temple, dedicated to worshipping snakes. The temple, enveloped by a forest, is sure to evoke a unique feeling. After Alappuzha sightseeing, come back to the hotel for over night's stay.

Day 7- Exploring Alappuzha:

After breakfast, we will do the Alappuzha sightseeing tour the next day. The objective of visiting Alleppey is to enjoy the impressive landscapes of lakes, backwaters, and lagoons. And there are countless bodies of water throughout the town.

You'll go to Marari Beach and Alleppey Beach, the two most popular beaches. The beaches are perfect for you to spend some self-time, offering a peaceful environment. You can take a walk on the clean beaches and also stop by a couple of parks and picnic spots near the beach.

Furthermore, you will be exploring several giants and picturesque churches that attract tourists and believers worldwide. The Iglesia Forane de Santa Maria is one of them, apparently built sometime in 835 AD.

Later in the evening, get ready for this boat trip from Alappuzha to Kovalam. Our representative will drop you at our Kovalam Ayurveda retreat on a houseboat. The houseboat is referred to as a "kettuvallam" in Kerala. It will be an overnight cruise on a well-appointed houseboat with well-appointed rooms. The houseboat will be where you spend the night.





Day 8- Arriving at Kovalam:

Upon arrival in Kovalam, have a delicious breakfast on the houseboat and, check out, disembark from the houseboat. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check-in at our Ayurveda resort. The remainder of the day is free for recreation and healing.

Three adjacent crescent-shaped beaches make up the well-known Kovalam beach. Since the 1930s, it has been a favorite destination for travelers, particularly those from Europe. A massive headland of rocks on the beach has formed a stunning bay with calm seas perfect for swimming. This beach offers numerous and varied recreational opportunities, including quick access to swimming, catamaran rides, special cultural programs, herbal body massages, and sunbathing. Life on the beach begins late in the day and lasts far into the night.

Day 9 – Ayurveda treatment in Kovalam

We will make a call to the neighborhood Vaid (an Ayurvedic physician) on this day, who will organize your food and daily schedule. It is advised that you stay away from alcohol and smoking during the treatment days. Avoid any form of exertion as well.
Stress-relieving massages, reviving steam baths, and other activities will be part of your daily schedule. Also, experts will teach yoga to stay fit and healthy and maintain proper body balance. Dinner according to the prescribed diet and overnight stay in Kovalam.


Day 10- In Kovalam (Ayurveda Therapy):

Another day spent at the resort enjoying delectable Ayurvedic treatments away from the rush of city life. The Ayurvedic spa services provided here will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The treatments are worth it and are one of the best retreat centers in Kerala. Overnight stay in Kovalam at the center.

Day 11 - In Kovalam (Ayurvedic Spa):

Spend the final day at leisure after breakfast, taking advantage of the spa's amenities and the delicious Ayurvedic food. Spend the night at the Kovalam resort.





Day 12- Departure to Trivandrum

On the final day of your Kerala ayurvedic tour, use our agents' courteous support to drive to Trivandrum and then transfer to a hotel. Visit the Padmanabha Swami Temple, Shri Chitra Art Gallery, and other places after taking a city tour of Trivandrum.
In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner before leaving to make your way to the airport, where you will catch a flight home.
