Itinerary

Day 1: Airport pick up, Guwahati to Nameri (210km/4hrs)

Our guide will greet you at the Guwahati airport and assist you with your tour of Tawang. After being picked up from the airport, our guide will escort you to Nameri National Park, one of the world's most beautiful destinations. The park is located 210 kilometers from the airport and is ideal for nature and wildlife enthusiasts. You can tour the neighborhood and take in the breathtaking scenery. After that, you'll be vacationing in a resort in the middle of nowhere, having a wonderful time.

Day 2: Nameri to Dirang (160Km/4hrs)

On the second day, eat a healthy breakfast and prepare for the exciting excursions. On the 2nd day of the Tawang tour package, we will travel to Dirang, a breathtaking Himalayan valley. Additionally, you'll get to go to a Tibetan village. It's a very tranquil and excellent spot to unwind. Along with Dirang Dzong, it also features Buddhist architecture that is worth seeing. You'll have dinner and spend the night in the hotel.

Day 3: Dirang to Tawang (135 km/4 hours)

After a nutritious and delicious breakfast on the third day, we will go for a Tawang tour. On your trip to Tawang, you will also stop at a thermal spring in Dirang. Later, we'll stop at Vaisakhi for a lunch break and sample some delectable Dosa. After lunch, we'll travel to Sela Lake, also known as Paradise Lake, which is 13,700 feet above sea level. You will also visit the Jaswant Garh memorial, located near the lake. Finally, before arriving in Guwahati, we shall see the Nuranang waterfalls. Your supper and overnight stay will be at a hotel.

Day 4: Excursion in Tawang

As is customary, we begin the day with a delectable breakfast to prepare ourselves for the day ahead. You will learn about the local Twang and its cultural heritages on the fourth day. Tawang Monastery, Asia's second-largest monastery, is the day's first stop. It is among the top locations to visit if you wish to discover Buddhism. After that, the Tawang tour also includes the visit to the birthplace of the sixth Dalai Lama, which is another Buddhist cultural experience. Following lunch, you will visit a Nun monastery and participate in a rope climb. After supper, we'll head back to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 5: Around Tawang

On the fifth day of the Tawang tour package, you will explore the Tawang area to see the beautiful scenery. The Bum La Pass, which divides India and China, will also be visible to you. The day will be a little more laid-back, with less travel.


Day 6: Tawang to Bomdila (180Km/5hrs)

Our day will begin on the sixth day with a visit to Bomdila, located at a lower height than Tawang. We'll go to a Buddhist monastery as well as the Bomdila market. It's a secluded location that, like few other indigenous peoples, has evaded the recent tourist onslaught. It is very famous for its breathtaking views of apple orchards and monasteries. You will also have dinner at the hotel later in the evening in addition to your overnight stay.

Day 7: Bomdila to Guwahati, Departure (270km/7hrs)

On day 7, the final day of the Tawang tour, you will check out of the hotel and depart for Guwahati after breakfast. Our guide will drop you at the Guwahati airport. We will also visit a few locations in Guwahati if you have enough time before your flight.
